MAGIC Bodyfashion donates to Red Cross Netherlands

During the second half of 2021, there was a huge influx of asylum seekers in the Netherlands. A large number of them do not have enough warm clothing and other basic necessities, which is extremely hard in the winter months. To help with this situation, the Netherlands Red Cross  started a clothing collection campaign to provide 5000 children, women and men with warm, well-fitting winter clothing and shoes in the coming months.

Many businesses in the Netherlands have come forward to support the Red Cross and the people in need by donating lots of clothes and shoes. MAGIC Bodyfashion is among several fashion and clothing brands that have participated in this campaign by the Red Cross in January 2022 and donated underwear, bras and tops for women. This clothing collection campaign was active until 15 January, 2022. Volunteers at Red Cross created packages from the donation they received from companies including MAGIC Bodyfashion and distributed them to several refugee centers throughout the country.

Campaigns like these are a crucial part of MAGIC Bodyfashion’s sustainability & social initiative “MAGIC Cares”. With this initiative, we want to give back to the society and help people in need. Therefore, we are honored to be a part of such a big initiative by the Red Cross, and to be able to come in action to help people that are in desperate need of basic things such as clothing. We will continue such donations as well as other social initiatives in the future to help those in need and spread smiles. We value our partnerships with social organizations like the Red Cross and words of appreciation from them motivate us to give back to society even more.

As a part of MAGIC Cares, we started to donate clothing samples to organizations and people in need. In 2021, we made donations to EZRA Foundation & Kledingbank de Inloop. We aim to connect to more organizations in the future that provide essential clothing and other necessities to people in need, and also contribute to organizations in form of volunteering and other donations.
